Educate, Engage, Activate

Celebrating Asian American Pacific Islander Heritage Month with Yazhi Guo and Shin Daiko

Wednesday evening, May 18, was a beautiful one for our special Asian American Pacific Islander Heritage Month concert, featuring taiko drumming ensemble Shin Daiko and suona (Chinese oboe) player Yazhi Guo. We are so grateful to our co-hosts — CAN WIN and the Chinese School of Art and Culture — as well as the Griffin Museum for the use of their patio and the Winchester Cultural Council for grant money to help fund the event.
