
Community Facilitation Training Workshop December 2020
This 2-part virtual workshop is designed to teach participants how to facilitate dialogues around topics that may be difficult, emotionally charged, or complicated. The workshop will develop the capacity of individuals to lead community conversations in a variety of settings, from workplaces, to classrooms and community centers. This is a repeat of previous workshops held in November 2019 and February 2020.
Topics that will be covered include:
- Active listening in pairs and groups
- Leading group brainstorms and reaching consensus-based decisions on problems
- Reaching collective understanding, if not conclusions, around pressing community or national issues.
This workshop is free and open to all, however is recommended for teens and adults. Space is limited, so ensure your spot by registering now.
