Community Facilitation Training Workshop

This 1-day workshop is designed to teach participants how to facilitate dialogues around topics that may be difficult, emotionally charged, or complicated. The workshop will develop the capacity of individuals to lead community conversations in a variety of settings, from workplaces, to classrooms and community centers.

Topics that will be covered include:

  • Active listening in pairs and groups
  • Leading group brainstorms and reaching consensus-based decisions on problems
  • Reaching collective understanding, if not conclusions, around pressing community or national issues.

This workshop is free and open to all, however is recommended for teens and adults. Space is limited, so ensure  you apply early to reserve your spot!)

The workshop will be led by the Network’s Executive Director, Liora Norwich, in partnership with another trained facilitator.
