I’m a Good Person, Isn’t That Enough? With Debby Irving

Winchester-born racial justice educator and author of Waking Up White Debby Irving shares her thoughts and expertise on how parents, caregivers, and guardians can reflect on our own upbringing in order to proactively raise strong, empathic children. Debby will talk about the different kinds of unrecognized privilege that can influence our parenting. Debby will facilitate a 60-minute conversation of the “Basics” of Anti-Racist Parenting, using her unique brand of personal storytelling, and then host a 30-minute Q&A session for those who wish to stay on the webinar.

The following week, join a facilitated discussion and working group for parents and caregivers who want to unpack and practice the “Basics.” Session facilitated by Liora Norwich, Executive Director of the
Network for Social Justice. Register for both parts here
