On Wednesday, November 6, Network ED Liora Norwich and Winchester Unitarian Society (WUS) pastor Heather Janules addressed members of the Winchester Chamber of Commerce about a joint campaign between our two organizations to make Winchester more outwardly welcoming toward individuals identifying as LGBTQIA+. In the wake of the repeated thefts of the WUS’s rainbow flags, the two organizations felt it was important that LGBTQIA+ individuals recognize their allies in the Winchester business community and neighborhoods. Volunteers from the Network and WUS will be going door to door to area businesses and institutions in the coming weeks to distribute rainbow decals (seen above on the Network’s own conference room door) to interested parties. If you are interested in volunteering or to hang a decal in your home, place of worship, business, or institution please contact Shawn.
