We are so incredibly grateful to have received a 2023 Staffing Recovery Grant from Mass Humanities, which provided funding through the Mass Cultural Council. These funds will support staffing costs that will make NFSJ community arts, culture, and social and racial justice programs possible in 2023-4!
2023 Staffing Recovery Grants awarded over $1.2 million to 35 non-profit organizations across the Commonwealth, marking the largest single grant line in the history of MA Humanities. The purpose of the 2023 Staffing Recovery Grant is to deliver funding to non-profit organizations to sustain and expand the hours of current staff or to hire new staff in order to create, restore and grow humanities programs across the state. Awards ranged between $16,000 and $40,000, and benefit organizations with budgets of $500,000 or less and five or fewer full-time equivalent employees.
Mass Humanities is a state-based affiliate of the National Endowment for the Humanities.
